Belgian trappist bier and good food. I always eat here when I visit friends in Kipps Bay. They have a fine selection of beers from Europe and the food is always hearty and tasty.

So I didn't get to come here for brunch but stopped by in the evening while waiting for a spot at the bar next doors. They have a happy hour for drinks from 3 to 7pm. Nice ambiance inside, loved the decor. Amazing selection of tripels, prices are anywhere from 8 to 15$ for a beer and 13$ for cocktails.... More

The interior is cozy and on the tighter side, with lighting that was a little too dim at times. Food was pretty good overall - on the richer/heavier side, but expected with this type of bistro. My husband had the mussels, which came in a nice large portion. Prices are a little steep for the setting/vibe of the place. Wish... More

The restaurant itself is really cute but the prices are sky rocket high! we paid almost $30 for 2 regular coffees and 1 waffle.

It is a cute little place with a nice variety of options for breakfast. Had the Belgian waffle which was good and egg sandwich which was better. Reasonable and good service. Do recommend a try!

Had the baguette with Nutella, and breakfast egg sandwich - just enough to start the day. Enjoyed it so much that we came back for breakfast the next day. Not sure how their lunch and dinners are, but breakfast was really relaxed, efficient service, friendly. No complaints at all. Nice European ambiance.

Had my first waffle here and I couldn't of picked a better place I had the Fraise, while others had the Oreo and Brazilian All plates were cleaned up and reasonably priced as well

Im surprised at the negative reviews. Its not a 5 star, but its a very casual homey french cafe. The waffles and crepes are outstanding. We enjoyed our meal

Went there for a work dinner. Place was super hot. Had to take off my dress shirt and just wear a t-shirt so I didn't sweat to death. Beer selection was very good and that will be the only positive thing I will say in this review. Mussel Appetizers were very slow to come to table and then no plates... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
