We came here 4 times in our week long trip, but would have come every day if it'd been possible! The cheesecakes are small individual ones, not slices. $4.50 is a pretty normal price for NY, and totally worth it! I definitely recommend chocolate raspberry...More

We would come by to pick up those little cheesecakes for the office all the time. These cheesecakes are a crowdpleaser.

Eileens Cheesecakes are amazing, try the raspberry cheesecake, to die for! Yes it’s a bit pricey but they are all homemade so it’s worth the price. Employees could be a little bit friendlier

We came here after dinner for dessert and we're not disappointed. I have an allergy to nuts and the cheesecakes were stored in different areas to avoid any concerns of cross contamination. Both the salted caramel and cookies & cream are delicious, every bite is...More

Really small place but delicious cheesecake! A nice menu to choose from and little portions that are perfect if you want to try different flavours!

I hate leaving bad reviews but I really do think this place is rather overrated. Don't get me wrong my partner enjoyed his cheesecake, however mine had a very strong taste of food colouring (I had the red velvet). I was rather underwhelmed about the...More

If you are looking for New York cheesecakes, Eileen’s is one of the best places to visit. The store is small so please use your GPS and read the signs. I tried their Oreo and Blueberry cheesecake and they are divine! The price is affordable...More

Funny how the Q&A invite-to-answer system works. I got the sugar free one but not this. The answer here is much simpler: Yes. But melumar already told you that. ;)

I stand to be corrected but I don't think they do on their regular menu. I have very little doubt they'd make you one, though, as a special order. Either way, if you don't get a clear answer here (and even if you do), I'd... More

Eileen's Special Cheesecake opened for business in December, 1975, and arrived in lower Manhattan on December 4, 1976. It was a "ghost town" when I first arrived, but that didn't bother me because the rent was low and I desperately needed a place to bake for my growing wholesale business. I hadn't considered the retail aspects of the business until people started knocking on the door of the bakery wanting to buy cheesecake. With that encouragement, I purchased a bakery case and began to conduct retail business. Soon after our cheesecake attracted the press and we were listed in "Best Bites" in New York Magazine. Radio station WOR rated us "Number One Cheesecake" and we appeared on television quite often whipping up batters of cheesecake. Time passed, and now Cleveland Place is in a popular area where the mix of people and restaurants and shops are so unique. Downtown is becoming the "place to be", and we are actually on most maps now. We survived difficult times, and now "let the good times roll"!
