I absolutely love Barrio Chino, and go out of my way to visit each time I'm in NYC! That said, it is usually crowded, full of spirited conversation, and often has a wait... but that is because it is so fantastic!! I love trying their...More

The Ensalada de nopales with steak was very nice . Had a Copa Mexicana which was thick sliced watermelon Jicama and cucumber with a nice spicy chile powder and lime juice to finish it with a grapefruit mararita

Came here per a recommendation. Very small space and no place for those waiting for a table. Don't plan on getting a drink while you wait as the bar is used for those eating as well. We waited way longer than the time we were...More

The guac was super fresh and tasty. I had steak and eggs which was delicious. The drinks are good but strong.

Food was mediocre at best, very crowded, loud. To expensive for the quality of food. Don't understand the rating it received from yelp (four stars), very misleading.

The best margaritas in the City. If you like super spicy, ask for strawberry habanero. I crave them.

Great guacamole, delicious margaritas. The hibiscus and tamarind margarita. Food was really good and tasty. We had the enchilada mole, the lamb dish and the camarones borrachos. All delicious.

This place is small and cozy but it's absolutely worth going to try the Mexican specialities. The guacamole is unreal and the enchiladas are exceptional Good Mexican beers too

Would have never found this spot had it not been for a recommendation of a friend. This is the best Mexican food I've found yet. Its a small space but packs a big punch. The margaritas are off the chart. I recommend upgrading to "top...More

Great place to eat, definitively overpriced considering the portion size and quality, even by NYC standards though. Would be 5 stars if the prices were 25% lower. Everything on the menu is great.

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving
immigrant past and its modern transformation into a
beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side
is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city.
The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next
