MY husband and I chose this restaurant as it was across the street from MSG and we we going to a concert. It was a perfect location. The timing was great. The waitress was aware that we had about an hour for dinner. I selected the cod which was flaky, fresh and delicious. My husband had the lamb chop, which... More

Good food, nice atmosphere in a neighborhood with few "decent" places.Often meet clients here for breakfast, lunch and drinks. The food is good, diverse, average price for NYC. Can get very noisy at the bar.

Good food, good reviews, bland atmosphere. I sat in the back in the dining hall, the bar was more lively. Bread served with food, which was great for how hungry I was. The pasta I got was good, not the best ive ever had.

Disappointed in the service and the food. Waiting for 3 more people; but waiter could have brought us coffee while waiting. NIles was almost empty when we went for lunch…still had to wait for coffee/ service. Food was disappointing. Crispy Chicken Salad was very, very crispy---would revise that recipe! Tuna Salad was pretty to look at but it was raw... More

Food and service was great! i would recommend this restuarant/bar for any event you go to before or after MSG. We ate in the restaurant, which was great! But I would like to come back another time to hang out at the bar. It looked fun!

I was hesitant to give this place a shot when I walked in and thought: oh, no, this is basically a hotel restaurant, isn't it? I persisted anyhow. I was tired and ready to eat and relax. I was promptly seated. My service was fantastic - professional, subtle and anticipatory. The drinks are properly strong and the wine list is... More

Niles Bar and Restaurant was an interesting find. My friends and I had tickets to Andre Bocelli at Madison Square Garden and wanted a restaurant close by. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, tree and all and the room had a wonderful ambiance! The wait staff could not have been nicer and the food was beyond our expectations. Would... My friends and I met at the bar nightly for drinks before dinner. We ate dinner twice at Niles, lunch twice and breakfast once. One of my favorite items on the menu was their Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad. It was so yummy. Each of my meals were very good, and my friends said the same thing. My favorite bar item... More

I spent 9 days in NYC in Oct 2016 and Niles was right next door to my hotel. It was great and I had several breakfasts in there and also had meals later in the day at the bar. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming and I also watched a few UK football matches whilst in there. I will... More
