an excellent and suitably quirky place to have after dinner drinks- the cocktails were excellent, the bar tender ascetically pleasing as were the other patrons- all in an environment that can only be described as "Antler Chic" I will return

I went at Freemans two times and both were a great experience. The atmosphere is very nice, service excellent and the food is great.

Food was excellent, service great. If you're calorie counting, I'm not sure this is your place - I must have eaten 8K calories worth of food, because there wasn't a bad dish served.

Loved this place! looks like an old world tavern. The cocktails were fantastic and the mussel I had a dream! Can't wait to go back.

We popped in for lunch. It was busy so we ended up with perhaps the worse table in the restaurant. There was little lighting in the restaurant which was designed to hide the setting. Service was slow with the waitress showing little interest. However the food seemed to appear without too much delay. The waiter was asked for some sauce... More

This restaurant is down an alley and reminded me of little of the out of the way restaurants from a recent visit to Australia. The food was good. Our server was very friendly and competent. Nothing super special -- wouldn't go out of my way to go there again, but might take some visitors there because it was different from... More

Freemans's brunch is pretty exciting. The menu may be small, but the choices pack a punch and there are a good number of healthy options as well. The pancakes are definitely a winner, while the omelettes are also delicious. Even the thick cut bacon and sausage links were surprisingly good sides.

With great expectations we went on Christmas Eve to have a nice dinner with the family. The first impression like the entrance, the rooms and even the menu seemed very nice. However, looking at the prices, above all of the wines (the cheapest was a Lambrusco for 12 dollars a glass) made us already doubt about how it would be.... More

Hidden in Soho. Clearly popular even on a Turs. night. I had the roasted squash soup, delicious. I would skip the mussels with crusty French bread---way over done. Came in without a reservation so our seating was in the bar area so it was really loud! There's a much quitter space in the back--insist on being sat there otherwise you'll... More

We originally planned to dine at a different restaurant but when we found out the wait was too long, we went to Freemans instead. We had cocktails at the bar while they set our table and within minutes, we were seated. The alleyway entrance was very unique and eccentric. Inside, the ambiance was rustic, cozy and charming. The menu is... More
