I enjoyed my food and prompt service. My server was highly professional and accommodating. I tune out the busy and noisy background of other dining patrons. It’s one Manhattan restaurant where you sacrifice ambience. The quality of food is consistently great.

The restaurant with the great atmosphere, very polite staff, tasty food. You should make reservation in advance. There is also a bar downstairs where you can have a drink while you are waiting for your table.

Hearing nobu as the buzz restaurant we thought we had to check it out. While the food and service is great couldn’t help but feel it was slightly overpriced for what it was. Would maybe return

The first uptown New York location by legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, opened to much anticipation in the summer of 2005. Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature New Style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod Miso, and new creations from the wood burning oven and the hibachi table.
