Having walked past this place numerous times to our hotel we btaved a trial. Well, if you want a sports bar with a homely feel then this scores a home run. We r from U.K. and their Irish hospitality is brilliant Good (huge) choice of beers, cheap bucket deals for groups. We had pizza and it was bang on.

It's not a bad place at all, and it's famous for being a baseball pub. It's rich in memorabilia and is quite old-style atmospheric with sports on the tv screens. It was busy at 5.30 on Wednesday, but I found a good seat at the bar. It has a good range of beers but the beer glasses looked a little... More

Went here the night of a concert at MSG. Nice location, but was overly thrilled with our waitress. We actually had to ask to be served. And when she did, it was slow. I order the crème brulee martini, but it tasted watered down. I was not impressed by the soup or mashed potatoes. An Irish bar who's mashed potatoes... More

Well situated across from the Empire State building in the heart of Manhattan. The decor is meant to be nostalgic but really its just old fashioned and dated . The lager is good and the food tasty and reasonable value for money . Its a sort of local hangout with an established clientel. Its OK

You will not be disappointed with this dive bar in the heart of midtown. The decor is a man caves dream come true. Every time I visit I notice something different always. The beer selection is very good and often have rotating beers. The food is high quality pub food with specials daily! Props to bartender Jonathan! The best bartender... More

Reviews were good so I stopped by the bar for a solo meal & a pint of Guinness on Friday, about 5. Bar was busy, pre-Rangers game at 7. Well a pint isn't really a pint here. At least it looked a bit small, with gold Jets & Budweiser logos. No euro-style "fair pour" marking. However the black magic was... More

We dropped in for a quick drink on St Patricks Day; the bar was busy but not overcrowded. The place is full of sports memorabilia and was very interesting.

The food was decent but not great, and the service was also average. But the real draw here is the collection of seemingly random sports artifacts collected from many sports and time eras. It is quite something to see if you're a sports fan.

Came here on recommendations on the internet for somewhere to chill out with a few drinks and watch Superbowl 50 back in Feb 2016. Was very impressed! They had a couple of specials on the menu for the evening including Newton's Nachos and Peyton's Platter (wings), of which we had one of each. Both were equally brilliant for nibbling on... More

Stopped in for a few Irish drinks. The bar was very busy but the bar staff was very attentive and sought us out to make sure we received fast service. The drinks were strong, which is always a plus. The place is covered from floor to ceiling with sports memorabilia which is great to look at. We would definitely return.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
