There nothing extraordinary about this little hole in the wall, but it serves some pretty decent food for a reasonable price. I had a burrito, and I was pleased

I'm at East 80th & Lexington Ave waiting for my guy at the doctor's office. I didn't walk far to find Burger One at 1150 Lexington Ave between 79th/80th Street. It's a teeny tiny, unassuming diner that probably makes great burgers and many more sandwiches listed on its simple menu, placed on the board above the cooking range. It has... More

This is a small, hole in the wall, paper plate and plastic fork, greasy diner. The food was delicious and service was friendly. I asked for the burger well done with no pink and got a bit of pink. But to fair, I saw them grill the burger and would have assumed there was no pink myself. The burger was... More

Small diner. Had the buffalo burger with cheese. It was nice. Hubby had the buffalo wings and fries which he said were ok but not amazing. Have to move the table to sit down as they are pretty close together. Service was friendly and efficient. The food wasnt exciting enough to make us want to visit again but there is... More

The only thing you ask of a "burger place" is to have GREAT burgers and Soup Burg does. We had relative at near by Lennox Hill Hosp. and went there twice during our visits. Buns, sides, and toppings are all top notch!

We ate breakfast here our second day & ended up coming back on the third morning as well. The food was good & the cashier was funny. We would recommend this restaurant for a good, quick meal.

I had the veggie burger and fried sweet potatoes with cherry pie. It was amazing! Finding a good veggie burger is hard, but they have a wonderful one.

I ate here for lunch when visiting the museums. Although it is a few blocks east, it is far more economical than eating in the museums where you often have to eat standing up! Soup Burg is a small diner with great hamburgers. The patty is larger than the bun and has great beef flavour. Despite its name, only a... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
