My wife and I discovered this AWESOME bar 10 yrs ago the yr we were married. We decided 10 yrs later to visit it again. We weren't disappointed then and weren't disappointed now! It's a really cool Russian "Dive Bar" that specializes in infused vodka flavors. The drinks were made very good and strong. We also tried some authentic Russian... More

My husband had been here a few times before but it was my first. We had already had dinner and were heading there for a night cap. They have homemade infused vodkas and a lively group with a live piano player. I would suggest trying the infused vodkas, they were tasty.

i like a good vodka, and stopped in the russian vodka room on my last visit to nyc ( jan/'17). upon entering , the place does look dated - late 70's - 80's.. kinda dark ,mysterious place, interesting. i sat at the bar, asked the very pretty bartender about real russian vodkas. i started off with a new vodka to... Such a gem! you must come here for really good food and great drinks. Their house vodka is too good to pass up on. Also, do yourself a favor and try their mushroom plate (Mushroom Julienne En Cocotte) DELICIOUS!

Outdated and servers were stuck up and rude. I wouldn't come back again if it weren't fir my friends visiting from Florida. It's expensive. Appetizers were editable and good. Bartender was rude too.

This was my favorite restaurant/drink stop over a long weekend in nyc. Loved the dark, cozy feel. Waitresses were helpful but didn't rush us thru dinner or drinks. All the food was delicious- beef stroganoff, borscht, chicken schnitzel, smoked fish & blintzes - just good, hearty foods! The infused vodkas were tasty too- pineapple, strawberry & cranberry were my favorites.... More

"Closed for private party!" Turned people away, but I made reservation 5PM for two. Forced to sit in bar area. Ok, fine fighting party was about to begin. No, party was allegedly starting at 7! I ordered shots, watered down, iced tea should have put my daughter out, nothing. Caviar might be served for private parties. I knew what they... More

When I crave for Russian borscht, Russian Vodka Room is my first choice. I love the food. It's casual enough to stop by for meal only, but you also have large selection for infused vodka. Russian Piano bar and friendly stuff. Russian all together in the heart of Time Square in my favorite city New York.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
