We ate seated at the bar- the food was wonderful! The bartender also was accommodating with her recommendations. The location in Times Square made it convenient and the decor was neat! Make a reservation to be sure you get in - it is popular!

Met friends after theatre for a good Italian meal . Dishes were good in a noisy atmosphere . Apps were large but overpriced . The food as I said was good but not memorable.

La Masseria is a traditional Italian restaurant about five minutes walk from Times Square. I'm very impressed by the food they serve. The paste is great and the grilled baby octopus is divine. I can have it everyday! The place is teeming with customers. Staffs are friendly and efficient. A good dinner option near Times Square.

We picked this restaurant for dinner after seeing some good reviews. We made a reservation as it was busy on a Friday night but were able to be seated a little early which was nice. Ambiance was very nice reminding us of our trip to Italy a few years ago. The service was also very good but unfortunately the food... More

WE thought we were early enough to not need reservations at 5:00; we were wrong. This was our third option and it was an amazing find. The service was the best we have had in a long time. The food was amazing and it was like being in Italy. The Burratta caprese salad was heavenly. We had Brazzini; ravioli; and... More

Everyone in our party enjoyed their dish! However, I was particularly pleased with the roasted rabbit. I grew up in South Louisiana and ate wild rabbit frequently. It is difficult to find rabbit (domestic) on most menus nowadays. The dish was prepared to perfection with a side of cabbage and potatoes! The service was very good and most accommodating. The... My husband and I were visiting NYC and were looking forward to a superb Italian dining experience. La Masseria was highly rated and the food and service we experienced were both exceptional and exceeded our expectations. However, after we completed our dinner and left the restaurant, my husband was accosted by one of the staff criticizing the tip he left,... More

We just finished seeing the play Waitress. Which was fantastic. In the playbill this restaurant was advertised and nearby. We were all in the mood for Italian so we gave it a shot. It looks kinda small from the outside but was really quite large. The food was really good, the wait staff in better and it really had a... More

Our flight into JFK was delayed by two hours, meaning that our dinner reservation slid to 9:30pm. On one hand we were famished, on the other we were worried that our dining experience might be compromised. We could have saved the worry. Apparently "Masseria" means farmhouse and the decor was very comfortable with lots of exposed brick walls with farm... More

Thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Great food and service. Will go back without hesitation. On the pricey side but worth it.

La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversized iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal. The 250-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy with few of the best American and the rest of the world.
