Staff is great and fun. It's a nice place to grab a drink or something to eat. You can relax in quiet or the staff is happy to chat with you. Great place

We had pub food. Wings nachos and chicken sandwich and it was great. Free refills on soda (other places in NYC didn't have free refills). The wings were super crispy and the teriyaki flavor was great. It wasn't busy at noon on a Monday and the server was good! No complaints I had an enjoyable time.

Stopped in on a cold and rainy night for some good food. We had the McGee burger, chicken burger and chicken pot pie. The service was good and quick. I had the pitcher of bud light that was on special...not my favourite but that was my fault.

McGees was just round the corner from our hotel, so we called in here a couple of times on our long weekend in New York for pre-dinner drinks. We sat at the downstairs bar for drinks, so cannot comment on the food, which looked good from a distance. Atmosphere was good, the two Irish bar keeps were very friendly and... More

The bar was great and the how I met your mother drinks were super fun. But to me this bar didn't look like HIMYM at all. Disappointed!!

This bar was close to our hotel and we ventured out on a very rainy night for dinner. It was awful. Nice bar and interesting to see the HIMYM memorabilia but the food was abysmal. The supposed fresh fish was frozen cheap rubbish. My husbands gourmet chicken burger was processed rubbish. We had 3 drinks between us and paid over... More

Myself and my wife were staying in a hotel just off Times Square in April and we came across this Irish Bar and decided to venture in for a pint. We were met by Ronan behind the bar and he served us some of the finest Guinness that I have tasted in New York. We also ate some finger food... More

When I visited NYC, this place was #1 on my list of things to do because I'm a huge HIMYM fan. The pictures of the cast are cool to see. The food was decent. They have HIMYM inspired drinks which was cool as well. The problem I had was with the service. Being in NYC the place was obviously very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
