Went here as last minute, when we hopped out of cab there was a man with an umbrella calling on folks to come in and have lunch in a friendly manner so we figured why not. This was a part of NYC that was nice and homey and felt like the movies to me. The restaurant wasn't huge but it... More

We stopped here on our walk through Little Italy and fell in love. The maitre d inviting customers was the best part. Loved that guy. We sat outside and had a great pitcher of sangria, some bruschetta and mussels appetizer that was big enough for a main course.

This is Italy. Forget those trendy / snobby wannabe food courts, this gem of a restaurant exudes the epitome of Italian flavor! Don't come thinking chicken parm (although they have it) if that's your fare you're not going to understand that this place is for real foodies. Try the spudini which taste like you're in Rome, the gnocchi light and... More

This is a very busy place restaurant in Little Italy on lower Manhattan. I know they are busy, but when I noticed the poor customer service given to some guests, I will not return. I saw guests leave before they even ordered, due to poor customer service. We just had some drinks and left. Many of the wait staff showed... More

We were seated right away, for NYC the food was really well priced! We had eggplant and chicken penne. Both were excellent! We loved their sauce. The only reason I gave a 4 is the staff was on the ball but, not very friendly.

My son wanted to have Italian food I little Italy while we were in NYC. We chose the restaurant literally because on of the staff solicited us out in front. The bread was hot and excellent. We also split a Caesar salad and I ordered chicken Francese which included a perfect combination of lemon and butter. The service was excellent.

Rude staff outside the restaurant yelled at us to get in line when they formed the line far away from the door. Don't bother spending your money where they treat you like crap

Super Italian meals! Full bar with large selections of wines. Walking distance to small shops in Chinatown.

We just happened into this restaurant after a day of wandering around Manhattan, and it was delicious! The service was wonderful. We had chicken fettuccine alfredo ( hands down, the best alfredo sauce I have ever had!) and fried calamari, both were perfection. The man outside greeted us and made me giggle so we went in, best decision all weekend!... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
