My wife and I have been to the Palm Restaurant on several occasions in Orlando and New York. The food has always been exceptional. This visit was slightly different. We both ordered the lobster bisque. We both found it to be very fishy tasting. We sent it back to the kitchen and they took it off the bill. My wife... More

We arrived at 7:30 and were seated promptly...that was the end of good service. We were seated in the far dining area...big tables...thunderous noise..not enjoyable. It was like a high school lunch room. We have been here many times in the past, but never seated in that room. Our waiter was nice when we could find him. Food was very... More

The best lobster and steak (and bacon) in New York. With exceptional service starting from the coat check.

We had a great meal tonight. We skipped and went for the veal marsala, big filet mignon, garlic whipped potatoes and sautéed spinach with garlic and olive oil. All washed down with a nice red wine. A classic Palm dinner! Oh and there are some pretty big lobsters to get if you're in the mood. Probably one of the greatest... More

Had a productive and enjoyable business lunch. Entree salads were good and price reasonable. Acoustics were good for conversation. Good place for a business lunch.

Been going here for thirty-six years, and as it's not as great as it once was (what is) it is still an exceptional place to have a great steak and more. Still one of the best steak houses around

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
