The calm comfortable atmosphere made my day! The scone I had with cream was better than I expected. The tier display of the afternoon tea made me feel special. They had many vegetarian options and labeled the,m for easy ordering.

They had a large variety of teas (including decaf for one in our party) We all had different types and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The scones were very good and they offered a vegan option which we needed as one in our group is a vegan. I have no complaints about the food, but I was disappointed that... More

We had the Mad Hatter Afternoon Tea for Two ($60). Ambience, service, scones, chocolate mousse were great, and no complaints. We had a great experience, in a cute restaurant. The sandwiches that were part of the Afternoon Tea set were a little disappointing. We had the chicken and the tuna. Both tasted dry, especially the chicken. I would have no... More

I've been here twice now and both times it did not disappoint! This is not the place for a diner breakfast--but one that focuses on tea and baked goods in a cozy dining room. Make a reservation to avoid a wait.

Hoping to be seated for a late lunch at Alice's Tea Cup Chapter One (because they do not take same day reservations), the 50 min wait did not deter us and we spent the time around the corner in line at Levain waiting for cookies. We were seated at a fabulous glass top display table filled with Alice in Wonderland... More

I try to come to Alice's Tea Cup every time I'm near the Upper West Side in NYC. The fresh scones, the tea, the charming atmosphere and the friendly wait staff combine to make it the perfect break after a day of meetings, sightseeing, or dealing with the people with whom you're traveling.

Raspberry coulis, clotted cream and melt in your mouth scones. It is great for all ages especially the little ones. When we were there the hostess sprinkled glitter on the kids, it really was a cute tea house. I had gone for my aunts birthday since she likes tea shops. We each ordered an entree but the tier sampler looked... More

We went here on a recommendation after the Museum of Natural History; it was perfect. We had 4 adults and two kids and all were very happy. I'm vegan and had tons of options, the kids loved crepes and the other adults all had sandwiches or salads that were lovely.

Had brunch here on a Sunday before visiting the Natural History Museum. It's quaint, welcoming and full of ephemera and tchotchke. They'll even douse you in fairy dust if you so wish. The brunch menu is limited, but the food was pretty good. It will take you 45 minutes to go through the extensive tea list, but have no fear,... More

I had my birthday breakfast here...Yummy! Alice's breakfast tea was so nice- and I'm picky about my tea! The service was outstanding... our server was sweet and very helpful with suggestions. Biscuits and scones top rated! I noticed that it was extra special for the young girls having tea with their moms. Totally kid friendly and charming! I went to... More
