Food and service was good, but the bathroom can use a major overhaul. I wouldn't bring someone that I'm trying to impress.

Much more than pizza, Arturo's offers classic dishes with the highest level of service. Prices are reasonable and quantities are just right. A completely delightful dining experience to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Wait staff are most attentive but don't hover. Pacing between courses was unhurried. All of our dishes were delicious.

Having just arrived in NY we wanted a quick eat - these guys were able to serve up a 12" pizza in 15 minutes, which was perfect to quell empty stomachs! The pizza was delicious, full of flavour and no lack of toppings! The staff were incredibly professional and being able to watch them make their pizzas was fantastic -... More

We were tipped by locals to go to Arturo's, and it was really great! They were serving real coal oven Pizza, no fancy place but great service. Great prices!

Full italian menu but we went for the good coal oven pizza. Get comfy in tight quarters with your Village neighbours and listen to some live background jazz over all the conversations.

You gotta love walking through New York and stumbling across these excellent, honey-hole pizza joints. I tried the Sicilian pizza at Arturo's and was taken on a journey. The crust had a strong crisp and the cheese melted in my mouth. It was cooked to perfection. The sauce was not too sweet, yet not too subtle; and the center was... More

Been going to Arturo's for over 40 years and it never disappoints. They were serving real coal oven Pizza way before the current wood burning craze that's swept the country. If you're looking for fancy this ain't it :) If you are looking for old fashioned high quality food with reasonable prices and ridiculously large portions...then check it out. NOTHING... More

We had a lovely pizza at this restaurant while listening to a live jazz band called Steve Ash Trio which was really good. You can find Arturo's on 106 West Houston Street. Enjoy!

The wait staff was rude, the pizza not good. This seems like an overpriced place that is a neighborhood hangout. Plenty of other places to get great pizza in NY.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
