Found this place with thousands of Trip Advisor recommendations. The best huge mixed green salad that we originally thought was way too much to eat but we polished it off----delicious!!. Also, shared the shrimp with linguine----the best. A fun busy place.

Family style restaurant in the heart of the city. It is crowded and loud but service is great as well as food's quality and selection.

Went with three friends, loved the family style dinner offerings, loved the food, loved the atmosphere, loved how close it was to the theatre, not a bad word to say about Carmines. Reservations suggested, as it does get crowded.

Big, noisy... But very good for big groups. Food was ok... There was a drunk old man near to us... Was terrible. Also the greeter was so rude. I'm not really interesting to be back. Nothing special... Maybe I didn't choose the good dishes.

Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
