A very nice restaurant with a standard bar and a line of tables on one side, and just tables on the other. The atmosphere was pleasant, with very accommodating staff and great food. We always ask our waiter what they would recommend, and then thru...More

Theater stand-by and Restaurant Row staple Joe Allen has survived all its multiple off-shoots and satellite restaurants by staying true to itself and its fail-safe formula of great burgers, excellent drinks, and spot-on service. All of those were in full-effect as we ducked into the...More

We were a party of six, half from out of state. We'd had a good experience with Joe Allen's brunch a couple of years ago and decided this would be a good place. It was. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. We were...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit for dinner on a Sunday evening. Place was almost full but service was impeccable with both food and drinks not taking long to arrive. We had two waiters as one went off shift, but both were friendly and attentive. Food...More

We already knew Mr Allen from London, so couldn't help visiting after our trip to Broadway. Atmosphere is obviously theatrical at this place and food doesn't disappoint. Without being outstanding, it delivers a punch of flavour and quality, and the whole experience is not to...More

I find it usually depends on the day of the week and the time you want to go . Pre and post theatre hours are the busiest for them and the most difficult to get reservations. A week out you should have no issues
