Kelley and Ping, in its old charming warehouse in SoHo is an institution. The food is rich, tasty and simple, with dishes from Malaysia, China, Thailand and Vietnam. It is great for lunch, and also nice for an early dinner. Order at the counter.

Located on one of the quieter streets in Soho. The decor is the usual Asian condiments and sauces stacked on the walls- but done well. The cocktails had Asian flavors- think mint, ginger, lychee etc.. and they were good. We started ff with a few appetizers. The duck salad was really good. The scallion pancakes were unfortunately more doughy than... More

I was away from Asia more than a month so getting Lab Kai which is type of Thai food was really pleasant. During the trip in New York we had dinner here three times. Some of my friends said it was not 100 %Thai authentic food which meant they didn't cook food with Thai fish sauce. But they use something... More

Been there many times, always liked No. 10 which is a whole meal in one bowl. Noodles, wontons, meat and greens in a broth. Felt always like a typical Chinese place, in a kind of nice and cosy western atmosphere. This time Kelley & Ping did not deliver. Noodles felt like last week noodles, and wontons were thick ... almost... More

The restaurant is very well located and offer nice food for a reasonably cheap price. The atmosphere and the decor are great. The staff are genuinely nice towards their costumers. I must thank Tedi for his amazing service! We did not know what to expect but this restaurant positively surprised us.

This resto has immense seating area - you order your food at the counter and watch the chefs prepare it. They call out your name when order is ready. Great selection of noodles, sautes and daily speacials. Ambiente is very spacious and nice, different sizes of tables. We needed 12 seats for lunch, they reserved it and waitress took our... More

A great spot in Soho and noted as a great spot to dine with kids. They have an online kids menu, which has variety and the price is right. The rest of the menu is invented and get ready to have your taste buds dazzled. Portions are spot on and the service is great. I highly recommend for either a... More

Have not been to Kelley and Ping in 15 years! Took a group of teens for a 15th birthday. Yummy food. Great service. Loved the duck salad, pad thai and thai iced tea. Dessert was slow but they comped it.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
