In the heart of Manhattan's theater district on West 46th Street's "Restaurant Row," stands Lattanzi Ristorante. Without the glitz of some of its well advertised neighbors, Lattanzi quietly has withstood their competition for generations. Lattanzi has a distinction that sets it apart: a Jewish/Italian/Roman menu!...More

This place is open seven days for lunch and dinner. Great and convenient place to go before the theatre with a hint of Italian charm. We ordered the risotto frutti de mare, ravioli porcini, scaloppene, and branzino oreganata with the appropriate glasses of wine. All...More

We enjoyed the meal, the service and ambiance: nice and quiet. Menu is varied. Staff is quick. Not too fancy, just right for a good afforable meal.

Lattanzi was recommended by a wealth business owner we know who frequently travels to NYC on business and for pleasure. It is very good Italian. It is also near the theatre district, they offer early seating and we had a short walk to our show...More

Have dined here twice in the last month or so - once pre-theater and once post. Both times the food was excellent and so was the service. As you might expect it's a lot less frenetic post-theater but they have the pre-theater service down pat....More

The atmosphere is refined Italian rustic. Service was quick-appetizer, dinner and desert took less than an hour without feeling rushed, just efficient (which is good when trying to make a show). The octopus salad was excellent. Branzino and veal scallopi were superb (although the vegetable...More

WE dine at Lattanzi more often than not when we are in Manhattan as the service is very good and the meals never disappoint. We have found that missing the theatre crowd who are usually off by 7.30 pm to be a great time to...More

In a city of great places to eat, this is a must visit! We went with a party of 7 and enjoyed our time so much, we shut down the ristorante. I highly recommend you take the time to visit.

The men were dressed in sport coats and slacks and the women in skirts, pants and nice tops ... not super dressy but nice. Many of the clientele are headed to the theater after dinner.

Now in the 25th year, this "winning" Restaurant Row Italian is renowned for its "Roman style specialties". (Don't miss "those fried artichokes"), "gracious services" and "after the theater" crowd departs for a more relaxed meal.
