Really stumbled into this place. the staff could not have been more polite and attentive. We sat by the window which was nice, although the couch was a tad uncomfortable. The food was really good. Excellent bass special with a great salad, and really good lamb chop. We found a nice Italian Nebbiolo wine at a good price and we... More

It hits our triple play - great food, enjoyable ambience (you can even hear each other speak ) and superb service. It was our first time and we had tickets for a theater in the area and they could not have been more accommodating when we discovered we might be late. Our first visit but not our last

Small restaurant charmed our group of 6 on a Saturday night. Authentic dishes prepared perfectly, from starters through to dessert. Ample staff kept us taken care of even when our primary server was busy with another. Tables are close so not as intimate for some, but I felt it was pretty typical for a NY restaurant.

Le Zie means "The aunts", and it still bears a familiar atmosphere. Good foos, simple place, honest genuine Italian dishes. Try the pasta.

We love this restaurant and have been coming since it opened. It's the perfect place to get great great Italian food. We had the Vongole, ravioli and lobster risotto with truffle. Eat here 😊😉.

Le Zie is my favorite local restaurant. The menu is extensive, the food is delicious (with generous portions), there's a great wine list, service is friendly and efficient, and prices are reasonable, especially for Manhattan. I've never had a bad meal at Le Zie. After the good bread with olive oil that's served at dinner, my starter of choice is... More

I love this Chelsea place. It is small and cozy and serves good hearty Italian food. This time we were two and not that hungry. We shared Muzzarela with tomato and basil which was what you expect. Good cheese fresh tomato and good balsamic. I would add more olive oil. Then we had two classics - linguini with clams and... More

My husband and I both had pasta dishes. In our opinion his lasagna was dry and could have had some sauce and my mushroom pasta was dry to the point that I used some of the olive oil for the bread on it. Upon telling the waiter of this concern, he indicated that the dish I ordered is supposed to... More

We have been neighbors for 15 + years but for some reason I only went to Le Zie two months ago. Since then I have been there at least ten times of lunch and dinner. I am now recognized as a regular. The evening specials are special and change in a way that makes it clear that the chef is... More
