It was difficult to find its entrance, not even the taxi who drove us there could help us, but after a feel minutes we managed to find it... and it was worth it. If you are a foreigner whose native language isn't English and you don't speak it, you may find it difficult to order anything in there. My parents... More

Such a amazing cafe with a great view in the middle of the city.. if you are looking for a getaway from the city life for a few hours or enjoy natural and great food. This is definitely the place to come to.. We started with Cesar salad, followed by grilled salmon with asparagus and a side which was very... More

The Boat Basin is the type of place you can forgive for having mediocre food. That said, if you're looking for something low key and have a dog it's an ideal spot!

I come here almost every weekend with my family and dog. You can't beat the outdoor ambience. Great burgers and beer. This is simple food done well enough.

The place is really nice, you can enjoy the sunset on the river. But the serive is bad: the waiters are not kind and the food doen't deserve its price.

Decent views (not great as compared to other waterfront establishments) and a friendly staff. The drinks were delicious too. Overall, a very good experience.

This must be one of the nicest lunch locations in NYC with river view And terrace. But why not some better food? And esp. real plaits and cutlery? Is the place owned by a plastic magnate? Service is efficient.

I haven't been to the Boat Basin since the early 2000's and was relieved to see that it was pretty much the same. I took some friends here and we all thought it was the perfect spot to sit and have a bite and enjoy the summer breeze of the river. We had some beers and an order of the... More

This place has a European feel to it. You don't feel like you are in New York. Walking down to the basin, you may think you are not going the right way, but just keep walking down. Food is good and a great place to meet friends for drinks
