Came for Restaurant Week! Decor: nice place, fancy. Sat upstairs. Wooden decor. Staff: good, friendly, knowledgeable. Drinks: I had a cocktail that was chili-infused Grey Goose vodka. My date got a drink with pear vodka. They were both delicious. The food was great, my date...More

I visited this gorgeous midtown restaurant during Winter Restaurant Week. The atmosphere and service are simply fantastic, but the food fails to live up to that standard. It is, unfortunately, boring. Good Vietnamese food SINGS with flavor, and your tastebuds get to experience subtle contrasts...More

We recently enjoyed a very nice dinner at Le Colonial. The food was very good and service very friendly and helpful, but what we almost enjoyed the most was the relaxed atmosphere. So many restaurants in NYC have tables within inches of each other, so...More

Cool faraway vibe upstairs. We enjoyed drinks and shared different bites. The atmosphere stands out as better than the food. Go for a relaxing cocktail with friends!

My personal favorite is the Bo Luc Lac, seared filet mignon over water crest salad and lemon pepper vinaigrette, but the Vit Quay is pretty good too.

Le Colonial is a truly delightful culinary experience. Like stepping into French Colonial Southeast Asia, this two-story restaurant, designed by Greg Jordan, consists of a main dining room with louvered wall panels, colorful tile floors, and vintage photos of Vietnam. Upstairs is an elegant, but lively, lounge serving a full dinner or just appetizers and cocktails. The lounge serves as an ideal setting for private parties and business dinners. Le Colonial serves an authentic Vietnamese menu with an emphasis on fresh seafood, meats, and vegetables.
