Charming little French restaurant ideally located near 5th Avenue and Rockefeller Center, Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. The best burger ever, amazing onion soup, great house salad with mustard vinegarette, and countless traditional French fare. Well priced, casual and authentic. I go there every time I am in the city.

Rec'd by friend, this bistro satisfies the soul---fresh bread basket on arrival (promptly refilled), followed by very good soup or salad, then a wonderful ham/cheese/mushroom crepe--less than an hour later, we're ready to leave for the airport---hope to return next year!!

It's a small local restaurant that locals frequent. Good service and very fairly priced by New York standards.

This is the very first place my friend and I stop during our semi-annual NYC trips. The french onion soup is the best I've ever tasted and for about $25, you can get a glass of wine, salad with French bread, the best soup and dessert. An excellent price for the amount of food, particularly in the heart of Manhattan!

We read about this on trip advisor and were not disappointed. The French onion soup was marvelous--full of cheese and toast. The quiche was equally as tasty. Service was efficient. The atmosphere is definitely casual and comfortable. We will be back next visit to NYC.

Wonderful little restaurant food is amazing service excellent. We didn't have a reservation and were lucky to get a table as it was very busy. Waiter was attentive without being intrusive tables are quite close together but this didn't really bother us. Would love to visit again and would have done this if we had more time.

We have been going to this little spot for years. We recently met a friend who has never visited NYC and brought her here for dinner. We all enjoyed it so much! There was only one glitch...I ordered salad and it never came and I love their salad dressing. But, other than that everything was excellent. The prix fixe menu... More

I brought a group of students to La Bonne Soup on a school trip. The hostess was so kind and helpful. We LOVED the cheese fondue, the soup, and the chocolate mousse. I had the tomato soup, but tried the clam chowder and French onion as well. All three were delicious. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my... More

Sweet little bistro/restaurant which I thoroughly enjoyed. Good service, great prices for NYC and tasty good food (at least what I ordered) my friend had a spinach crepe which she said was good but didn't finish it...but she said she had more than enough and was happy. Try it out if you have time!

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
