Great place to eat that does not disappoint. Menu is interesting. Design is comfortable. Service is flawless, despite, or because of, policy of no tipping.

We were pleasantly surprised by the lunch that we had at the Union Square Cafe in February, we had seen a documentary about the owner Dan Meijer and decided to try some of his restaurants out.. Union Square Cafe surpassed our expectations, from the hostess...More

2 of us split the dry-aged ribeye for 2 which came with 3 sides. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our sides were roasted carrots and baked beets - both full of flavor with a mix of textures. A savory bread pudding...More

We visited the Union Square Cafe on the basis of its reputation - generally a recipe for disappointment after unrealistic expectations. However the food was, as expected, very good and the service was spectacular. Very impressed. Also brunch was not ridiculously priced. Worthwhile experience.

I love this place. It combines fabulous food with the best service in NYC. The ahi tuna burger is "to die for". Puts every other tuna burger I've had to shame. Waitstaff and managers bend over backwards to ensure your dining experience is the superb....More

The food and ambiance are very good, the service is excellent. This is a service included establishment which makes it even more impressive. This is a Danny Meyer's stalwart establishment and you can always expect a very good to excellent experience.

Danny Meyer is well known around the New York City restaurant world. Recently, he has pioneered the “tip included” movement, which can be wonderful or atrocious, depending on your point of view. Union Square adheres to this policy, so prices include the service charge. To...More

I am not the owner, but the restaurant is highly customer centric and will likely accommodate such needs. Why not call them and ask?
