The sushi was of a very good quality, the fish were fresh and the restaurant has quite a cozy Japanese vibe. I can't complain about anything, however they failed to amaze me hence the 4 stars.

I am not enough Japanese cuisine connoisseur to distinguish between the best sushi restaurant. I really only know some bad sushi and good sushi. This one is a good one; arrived on Saturday night with no reservation, they told us the wait was 1 hr. Within 10 min, they offer us the bar seating which frankly is the best, watching... More

I visited Blue Ribbon Sushi a week ago for a quick solo lunch, and I loved it. As a starter, I had an oyster shot which was subtle and refreshing, and the Sashimi and Sushi combination as my main course. All the sashimi ingredients were fresh, and the sushi was truly fantastic. The only thing that made me a little... More

We definitely enjoyed these dishes made with finesse and balance. Delicious tastes, large choice, but quality comes with a price.

We visited the place for dinner at rush hour 1900. The place have a good original Japanese vibe in decor. The waiter was a little stressed, but he took the time (quick) to present the meny. The fish was delicious, but the maki's nothing special and rice was to sticky. A little bit overpriced.

A bit pricey but delicious. Especially sea urchin sushi. Sashimi was so good and soft... try to not miss this place as there are no sign outside.

Stopped by for lunch while out shopping. Such a perfect place for sushi away from crowds. The menu is extensive but we chose a sharing platter and a spicy crab roll, all of which were so good. The sushi is so fresh and I'd definitely return next time I'm in NYC.

Very good sushi at this place. The venue is rather small and minimalistic, so I recommend booking a table in advance. Service is good, and our waiter had good recommendations.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
