I love this little gem in chelsea. I live around the corner and go weekly. The menu is great, the ambiance is similar to being in a tiny French Bistro. I bring everyone here when they visit. You can sit outside and cafe' and people watch. Very friendly staff that go above and beyond. Just go!!

Decent French Bistro. Good Steak Frites. Escargot could have been better. Waiter was very pleasant. Otherwise, service was a bit spotty. Pretty terrible martini.

Why is the bread not fresh? Here is a French bistro with a lovely ambiance and good food and the bread is cold/stale/not French? The food used to be better, as well. But the place has a great vibe.

Great authentic french food. Very tasteful. Keep in mind cash counts at this restaurant (and American Express). Reservation recommended. This is a New Yorkers only restaurant. You won´t find too many tourists at all. Also a great bar, if you only want to stop by and have a drink. Le Singe Vert est magnifique.

We go to Le Singe Vert frequently, and we always enjoy a great meal and excellent service. There is a small but lively bar scene and the crowd is eclectic and interesting. I recommend this restaurant equally for locals and visitors.

Le Singe Vert is a go to spot for brunch in Chelsea. Always easy to get a table. Solid French food. Good omelettes. Croque madame. Cocktails and drinks available.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Nice selection of wine and drinks. The pâté campagne appetizer was very nice. The mussels Provençales were quite enjoyable and the frites were delicious. The service was great. Well worth the visit!

Always a trusted French restaurant. The food and service are always consistent. I always like the moules frites although the steak frites is great to. My girlfriend had the duck salad which also had positive feedback. They let you try the wines before purchasing enabling you to find one you really like.

Good steak frites and good steak in red wine sauce. Never disappoints. Friendly staff and good ambience. Even do a sticky toffee dessert.
