The food was ok but the party was fun. Thought it would be an outstanding dinner as the bruschetta with great tomatoes, perfect frito misto, antipasto misto with nice selection of meat and cheese were passed to enjoy with a great salad. It was the overcooked and dry fish that was the downfall. Desserts were good. Service was great and... More

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, the service was pretty good and quick but the food was nothing exciting I'm afraid. I took a group of 6 here for a pre-show dinner (we went to see Sleep No More). It was perfectly adequate but nothing to write home about. The drinks I think were the best part of the meal... More

Was really excited to eat here but food was just ok, portions were minuscule and the food came so quickly that I wonder if it was microwaved. Overpriced. I won't be going back.

We attend a gallant reception for Meghann Riepenhoff at gallery across street and the went to restaurant with 30 plus friends for dinner. Her Dad had arranged a fixed price dinner of $55 per person and with tax and wine and tip it came to 110 per person. The food was excellent. The calamari appetizer was outstanding as were the... Yossi Milo Gallery is directly across the street, as are others, making this a convienant location after hitting an opening. Having dined with a large group I think they did a very nice job of feeding all at once. The salad and appetizers were spot on, as was the dessert, but the fish entree needed to be sent back since... If you are exhausted from seeing beautiful art in Chelsea, among the best art galleries in town, you could as well nourish your body, after brain and soul. This is the case of Bottino, Italian restaurant with feel-like-home dishes, pasta in primis, an good meat. I always go there while I work in Chelsea. They even prepare salad to take... More

The newly re-opened Bottino is a good place for ending a visit to the High Line as it is right near the 23 St. exit on Tenth Ave. (about 2 doors north of the corner of 24th St. and Tenth.). The food is delicious and they have added some new salads, one of which I tried the other night. It... More

This place is a disgrace for an Italian restaurant. I took my mother here on her visit, and was utterly dissapointed. The butter served with bread wasn't real butter. The wine tasted cheap and bad and it sure wasn't the cheapest one. The foods came way too quickly which already tells you all you need to know. The vongole pasta... More

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
