For my girlfriend's birthday we catered from Caracas. They were great in helping us put together an order. Lots of options, friendly and fast service. They delivered and were happy to customize to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Tequeños, arepas , what can we say, enjoyed the food. The service is slow and thought maybe they were too busy but the food was worth waiting

Weather Venezuelan or Colombian, arepas are a staple; yes they are different: the Venezuelan are "rellenas", they are filled with whatever may cross your mind, or whatever the house maid can find in the fridge or garden or both. As the name suggests, the place...More

A fantastic little hole in the wall for affordable Venezuelan food. Expect to wait for a table if you come during peak times – but don’t let the wait deter you, it’s worth it. I highly recommend the La Mulata arepa! Vegetarian & gluten free...More

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to

i've never tried.. Waiting is not so bad though, you can hang out on the bar and have their friendly bartenders fix you up with a drink or a snack.

Description
Welcome to our East Village home! Caracas Arepa Bar has been serving Venezuelan arepas on East 7th Street since 2003. Join us in our cozy dining room for lunch and dinner specials everyday, as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. As any of our regulars will tell you, there's usually no way of escaping the evening wait at the door - but please, be patient and let us welcome you to a much deserved Caracas experience on the other side. Due to our limited space, we do not recommend parties greater than five people in our Manhattan location. We cannot accept reservations - all seating is done on a first come, first serve basis. Caracas Arepa Bar is proud to be part of the East Village community, and appreciates the customer loyalty within the neighborhood.
