Would recommend other diners, it was okay but would rush back. Had breakfast and found food to be standard and staff a little rude.

We just happened upon the Skylight Diner and saw lots of customers coming and going so we decided to give it a try. We sat right down and had quick friendly service. I had scrambled eggs, potatoes,& toast. Great price, great food! We will definitely be back on this trip.

This great diner has a expansive menu, very fast & friendly service, also very reasonably priced. It's open 24 hours a day and all options are available on the menu. If you want to get away from the crowds from Broadway & 7th Ave I recommend this place.

We ( 2 of us) were headed for the bus home and starving! Peaked in the window and saw people with fresh vegetables on their plates and enjoying their food. We went in and sure enough... No pretense and great service! No problem accommodating us with special requests. Crispy, HUGE, fresh salads and vegetables with your entree and as sides!... More

Stumbled upon this place on Christmas Day after a walk through the Highline. Very few places were open, so we settled on this one. This is such a typical American diner. The menu is big and one can always find something to eat. The quality was OK (once you adjust your expectations).

After walking the High Line, stopped in for arvo tea. Apple Pie & Root Beer Float. Hit the spot perfectly. Nice step back in time, quite clean diner.

It was so awesome for me to pop into this nifty sight I'm quite familiar with it as I had done research on it previously because I've found it to be an awesome redesign idea, this bridge was out of function for some time and then repurposed into a high line park, it's beautiful, green and it a great view...
