Norma's is aesthetically very pleasing. Service is excellent and the menu is superb. But expect to pay. Definitely worth going to Norma's for the experience .

It's a quite sophisticated restaurant for having a great brunch, ubicated in Le Parker Meridien Hotel... but it's not that expensive considering the size (and quality) of the portions. The only problem is that when you see the menu, you'll want to ask too many plates as it's really difficult to choose just one plate. They really have a great... More

The most expensive breakfast ever and the order was wrong with cold toast and eggs. Not quite too sure why this place is always rammed!

The hallway leading to the restaurant looks grander than the restaurant. I came for French toast but find most option very sugary leaning. Settled for plain French toast with maple syrup on the side. The toast were too thick in my opinion, hence I had to leave the gooey mushy center of the toast uneaten. Taste wise is ok. But not... More

We ate at Norma's for our New Year's day brunch while visiting New York over New Year. While I am gluten free, the menu which we had checked online said they had gf pancakes. On ordering I told the server I could not have oats (this is fairly common for coeliacs) and did not want berries on the pancakes either.... More

We return to Norma's every time we're in the city. We love the endless, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. This time I had the potato pancakes and they did not disappoint!

The food and atmosphere here are way above average. But does that justify $200 for breakfast for four--you be the judge. For me, no, not even for convenience sake when staying in the hotel. But they know they can charge it given the poor dining options around the hotel. I suggest Milos Cafe mid-block on 56th if you are looking... More

Went for a Birthday Brunch for my twin-11-yr-old daughters and they were in heaven. Had the "Donut-even-go-there French toast" - which is a donut stuffed with cheesecake prepared like French Toast and served with ice cream and an orange drizzle (ridiculously sweet and fantastic); and the Nutella Packed Jacks which sent my other daughter into a state of bliss. Everything... More

After looking at Norma's website, I was excited to try a decedent and fun brunch. I felt pretty let down. The costs are very higher (higher than Tavern on Green) - which would have been fine if brunch was exceptional. I ordered a berry waffle - it was drenched in a thick, berry sauce that made it soggy and too... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
