I remember visiting Norma's about 15 years ago and being wowed by the size and quality of the food. However, on our visit last week I was less than impressed. Yes you do still receive a large amount of food, but we found better (and cheaper) in the smaller diners. I think they have let their standards drop, which is... More

Making a reservation was very smooth, the gentleman that I spoke with was very pleasant. Upon arrival, hostess was very attentive with a smile and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is bright clean and airy without the typical tight seating most NYC restaurants have. Our waiter was fantastic! Blond hair, fair skin gentlemen (name??) His service was great with... I visited Norma's with my SIL, niece and friend. We loved the service and the food. I had the waffle which was spectacular. We shared and rotated plates so I also tried the delicious French toast and delightful German pancake. Also order were the oatmeal with berries and the grapefruit. I will be back the next time in NYC.

Scrambled edd and bacon and a pot of tea was $45 (for one person). - okay it came with lovely baby new potatoes and a croissant and a shot of a mango banana smoothie, but ?..wel i can't say I'd do that again. Beatifully presented and a very comfortable atmosphere.

This is a great stop if you want an over the top NYC breakfast. Huge portions, great food, but the service is lacking.

Went here for breakfast while staying in the hotel. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the shot glass of the day's smoothie was a nice treat. We had two kinds of eggs benedict which were ok but overpriced. The English Breakfast tea was very weak. Service was very good.

the breakfast food is very expensive but very unique with huge portions. Problem is there is a fruit fly problem. Every time I eat here , the bugs are bothersome at the table while you are waiting and gets increasingly worse when the food is served. This is disgusting and very annoying especially for such a high end breakfast.

There is no need to be "A Morning Person" to enjoy what many call the "BEST" most "INTERESTING" Breakfast in Town, served until 3PM at this "ATTRACTIVE" Hotel. Midtowner, die-hard sleep-in say, "it should be open later."

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
