Six of us enjoyed the prix fixe lunch and there were plenty of options to choose from. We arrived after the matinee crowd had departed so we had plenty of time to study the menu. Some had calf liver, others the seafood crepe and boeuf...More

I have been to many restaurants in New York in my lifetime, too many to count. Some of the finest meals I've had were in these places; after all, it is New York. However, there are very many restaurants who make their business because of...More

Went to this restaurant last night. We didn’t unfortunately find something we « really » want on the menu (although a lot of choice there) then we chose things anyway. We asked however for some sauce in addition as a side (snails sauce). This was refused. We...More

Don't kid yourself about great food at a great price. This is classic no-frills French Brasserie cooking done as good as it gets. It is NOT pricey here. You get far more value for your dollar here than at more pretentious restaurants. This is authentic...More

We were here for the 3 course pre-theater prix fixe dinner. They have their formula, and it works - a limited menu with items not requiring much preparation before serving, and efficient service without seeming rushed. They are pros at serving people and getting them...More

We had lunch here prior to a Broadway show since we've read good reviews about this place and they also had a pre-theater lunch menu. I ordered the Lobster Bisque to start which was ok but not great. Not sure where the lobster went as...More
