If you don't like people spontaneously bursting into song, or if you're looking for a gourmet meal, this place is probably not for you. If you decide you want a slice of backstage Broadway along with whatever's on special with your coffee - this is the place to be. The food's fine, ideal if you're starving hungry and they do... We queued for 1 1/2 hours to get in as we were told it was worth the wait, as it was something different thought we would stick it out, when we got in the place was nothing special, the food was OK and the singing waiting staff were good to be fair, however 4 meals and 4 drinks for over... More

We waited outside for around 40 minutes just as the diner was opening, as to be expected. Can't fault the service in this place, great atmosphere, great food but most of all great singing!

I am not one to complain however.... we waited patiently in line to get in for 20 minutes (expected for such a high demand restaurant). The problem started on entering the diner... We were seated by the gentleman on the door at a table for 2 on the bottom floor. We patiently waited for 30 minutes, whilst the couples around... More

There was a wait and there didn't need to be as there were plenty of empty tables when we got in. I think this is all part of the experience. The food didn't look that appetising so I stuck with the cocktails. The entertainment was great and you get the sense that you are supporting young people who are gaining... More

Food wasn't good at all and way toooooo expensive. But it was entertaining with waiters singing. Been there once and I don't think I will ever come back

This was overall a fun experience and I'm glad we went. The signing wait staff is delightful and talented. The decor is nostalgic and interesting. However, the restaurant is dirty. The breakfast food was sub par. Really barely worth eating.

Yes, you have to wait. Yes, the food is just fair. And I'm an old lady, so all the modern musical numbers left me cold, but the GREASE number right before we left gave me a taste of why people love this place. If you are younger or prepared to request some oldies if you are not, then it's a... More

If you love musical theatre and American food then this is a must! The waiters sing well know songs from the movies and broadway in and around where customers are sat eating, it's a really fun, interactive experience! The tips you give goes towards the staff's acting/singing/dancing class fees with the hope they'll be successful getting hired in a show... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
