Great food. I love Mexican food and U.K. doesn't have as many options as Usa so had to try this place. I am also veggie and this place is great for vegan and veggies as well as meat lovers. Defo recommend!

My friend is an artist that works in Soho and he recommended Mexican Radio. The drinks were wonderful! Just one sangri put me in a great mood! It was quite warm outside so they probably need to put the a/c up a bit more now...we didn't care because the nachos arrived and we dug right in. The burrito I was... More

This was a return trip. The mojitos were very good as was the service. I enjoyed the squash soup and my partner liked his mole. The chips and salsa are a very good deal at $3. The interior could use a bit of sprucing up.

Although I normally elaborate more in my reviews, I mostly have secondhand info about this place. I've been told by a close friend that up to several years ago this was one of the greatest Mexican hotspots, but apparently has slipped a bit in that rating. I've been told the food was much more authentic and interesting, and better quality.... More

We stumbled upon this place after a walk through 'Little Italy' - enticed by the 'Happy Hour' sign, we went in for some frozen Margaritas and some Nachos. We had a lovely evening and the staff was really friendly. Good place to hang out!

It is not very common to come along a Mexican restaurant that accommodates vegans and vegetarians! I ordered a vegan enchilada and it was very good (although the non-vegan option came out first and I had to send it back). Servers are very nice but there was no one else in the restaurant and the service was still slow. I... More

The menu and website both lie about being a gluten-free restaurant. They share menus with their two other locations that are GF and the owners must be too cheap to change the menu here. Everything is wildly overpriced and lacks flavor. What an amazing disappointment.

We always visit Mexican Radio when in NYC. The food and service are great. We had been one night just for a couple of cocktails, then returned again a couple of nights later for a feed. It was very busy, being a Friday night, but we had booked a table so all good. The nachos starter for me was excellent.... More

You've heard of 'Little Italy' but as far as I'm concerned this part of Soho should be called 'Little Mexico' solely because of this superb restaurant. The food is a celebration. Take the theatrical guacamole with the multicoloured tortilla chips. Take the fabulous trip pole mole fajitas. The frozen margaritas are tasty and potent. A second one of these turns... More

Walked through the crowds in Little Italy and decided to look for a quiet place instead. Happened upon this unassuming restaurant. The waitress was extremely pleasant and the space was cooled to a nice temperature. My friend had the Chicken Tortilla Soup. It was a huge portion and she said it was delicious. I ordered the Chimichanga; non-traditional I know.... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
