I believe this is one of the few NYC restaurants where gratuities is included in the total bill, save me from the unease and embarrassment of the tip thing. Good ambience, good service, good food, reasonably priced by NYC standard. Be prepared to wait as...More

The service was good, the food excellent and the wine list full of great choices. The Gramercy Tavern is renowned for its "farm to table" menu and it's obvious why from the first taste of the watermelon gazpacho to the succulent sea bass or tilapia...More

We had lunch on the Tavern side, not on the restaurant side. The menu was inspired and inviting, the pace pleasant, the service delightful. We will go back.

When i'm in NYC I always look for a top notch starred restaurant for lunch. I had great meals at Bouley and Del Posto and thought I'll go this time with Gramercy Tavern which I didn't visit almost 10 years. I went with the $89...More

One of my favorite places to dine in NYC. Always excellent. Sophisticated without being stuffy. Delightful atmosphere especially the bar area.

One of the best one star Michelin restaurant we have tried in NYC. The decor is nice, the food is amazing, we have really enjoyed. Also the area of the restaurant is nice to walk around.

Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set

Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building,
which makes a good picture no matter what angle you
photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant
architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this
neighborhood is part of a historic district that was

One of America’s most beloved restaurants, Gramercy Tavern has welcomed guests for close to two decades to enjoy seasonal American cuisine, warm hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is perennially ranked at the top of Zagat Survey’s ‘Most Popular’ list, and has garnered eight James Beard Awards including ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and ‘Best Chef: NYC’. Chef Michael Anthony’s highly seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. The Main Dining Room serves prix-fixe menus starting at $92 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch, and accepts reservations 28 days in advance. The more casual Tavern serves an a la carte menu centered around the wood burning grill, and welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also features an acclaimed wine list, and thoughtfully selected beer and cocktail offerings.
