This restaurant was very convenient to transportation, and has good outdoor seating. The service was excellent and our wait staff was friendly and attentive. The meal was tasty and we didn't have to wait very long. Will visit again.

Was looking for a place in NYC to have Ribs without mortgaging the house. Found Dallas on the Upper East Side. Ribs were great, ambiance was noisy, service decent. I'd surely return for their tasty Rivas at a very reasonable price for NYC.

although this place can be very noisy, they have excellent fall off the bones ribs. One thing I would recommend is that unless you really like bbq sauce you ask for it on the side, otherwise the ribs will come smoothered in sauce. The coleslaw here is also very delicious and for those who like coleslaw, i would recommend it.

Dinner was burgers and beer. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The servings were large and very good value. Service was quick. A good simple meal.

Had dinner at the Dallas BBQ at 132 2nd Ave but that location does not come up in Tripadvisor. Anyway, food was good and satisfying with portions large enough to share. Eva, our waitress, was terrific and made the meal nicer. We ordered a spinach salad with chicken, baked potato, chili, steamed veggies and beef brisket. And the mini cupcakes... More

This is one of the best bargains in NYC. You can get a delicious piece of barbecued chicken plus a side and corn bread for about $10. And the food is delicious. Sure miss the upper West side branch.

This place was pretty typical. Food was what you'd expect. Prices fairly reasonable for NYC. Frozen drinks were okay. I tried the BeachBomb but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. If I were to go back, I'd order a regular frozen margarita. Waitress gets extra points for putting aside my wife's sunglasses after she forgot them at... More

The restaurant is too noisy for me but I can not resist the portions and the prices. Besides their chicken soup, roast chicken and french fries are very good. And the Early Bird is unbelievable.

This was THEE WORST Barbecue place I have ever been to in my entire life. The wings were like dry KFC dipped in some low grade barbecue sauce. The Brisket, and the pulled barbecue was dry with some bbq drizzle on it. Please do not go here for any reason expecting Good or even edible barbecue. My family was sick... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
