I regularly have lunch or dinner at Cafe Boulud and they never disappoint. The menu varies a lot and I am not always completely blown away but I also never had a bad experience. The lunch menus are a steal considering the quality of the food, the service and the location. What I want to focus on here is the... More

Exquisite service and relaxed ambience without crowding. 3 appetizers, 1 main course, tea, Vodka tonic and 1/2 bottle of New Mexico champagne under $150. Attentiveness of staff and unusual, delicious food a la Boulud, makes this a "steal."
Thank you very much for your marvelous compliments and review. I am happy you enjoyed dining with us, and look forward to welcoming you again soon. Gratefully, Cherif Mbodji, Café Boulud More
One of my favourite eateries in NYC. The menu is always varied and of great quality. Atmosphere is relaxed though very classy. Somewhere for business or a romantic evening , it does both well.
Knowing Café Boulud is one of your favorite restaurants is extremely gratifying, as we hope to be a relaxing oasis, whether you are here for business or pleasure. I thank you for your thoughtful and gracious compliments, and look forward to welcoming you on your next visit. Gratefully, Cherif Mbodji, Café Boulud More
A set lunch here is $39 for two courses and $45 for three. Considering the food, service and atmosphere you should consider this a possible lunchtime destination if you find yourself on the upper East Side. The food and presentation is consistently imaginative in providing an appealing conceptualization of French cuisine. I seriously can't think of an aspect of the... More
I am delighted you had a relaxing and enjoyable lunch here after a morning out, and appreciate your very thoughtful and gracious compliments. Thank you for your marvelous review. Gratefully, Cherif Mbodji, Café Boulud More
We went with friends during Restaurant Week. We had an excellent wine which the sommelier had recommended. The selection for the Restaurant Week was diversified and exceptional. The service was attentive and unintrusive.
Dear Neal, I am glad you enjoyed the wine our Sommelier recommended, as well as your meal, when you dined here during Restaurant Week. Your thoughtful compliments for our cuisine and service are appreciated, and I thank you for your wonderful review. Gratefully, Cherif Mbodji, Café Boulud More
Was slightly disappointed to be offered breakfast menu instead of brunch on Sunday at 10am. The food was very good though. The croissant and pan au chocolat tasted like they were straight from Paris. The pancakes were the thickest but fluffiest I have ever seen!
Dear Amy, I am sorry you arrived before our brunch service began and hope you will return soon to enjoy it. However, I am delighted you enjoyed your breakfast, and thank you for your marvelous compliments for our pastries and pancakes. Gratefully, Cherif Mbodji, Café Boulud More
We meet friends every year in mid-December in Manhattan and always dine at Cafe Boulud our first night in the city. The fresh, creative and well prepared dishes are enhanced by the knowledgable, friendly and well trained staff. One of the best in the city.
Dear David, What a pleasure it is to have you and your friends dine with us when you visit the City each year. Thank you for sharing your enjoyment of Chef Aaron’s distinctive cuisine, and for your kind compliments for our team’s professional and caring service. We look forward to serving you next December, or anytime in between, and be... More
We had the Salmon dish, which was acceptable although there was a spine in it. The squash soup was good, very nicely presented. Breads were clearly not freshly baked and frankly quite tasteless, the olive bread was unsalted and the pumpkin just lacked flavor altogether. The gnocchi were small, and flavorless. The comté ravioli were actually very tasty! For dessert,... More
Dear Frederico, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us about the food and service you experienced at Café Boulud. I’m so happy you enjoyed the Squash Soup, Comté Ravioli and desserts – I only wish we could have wowed you from start to finish. I’d love to restore your confidence in the bright flavors of our gnocchi, and the... More
Being from Nashville, which is becoming a bit of a foodie city, we were really looking forward to our "date night" here and we were not disappointed in any way. The ambience is understated for a high end place - very tasteful, well designed, not overly crowded, not hectic but with impeccable service that was not disruptive to our conversation...and... More
It gives me great pleasure to know how much you enjoyed your date night here at Café Boulud. Thank you for your enthusiastic and thoughtful compliments for your meal, and entire dining experience. Chef Aaron and I are especially happy the duck breast and Lamb Saddle exceeded your expectations, and hope you will join us again on your next visit... More

My husband is planning a dinner party for me in December for my 75th birthday. My birthday is December 11th, 2016. I have seen mixed reviews and I would like to know what kind of accommodations you would have for a group of 10. It would be very upsetting if the service was way slow.
