Great spot for lunch. On upper east side off of 61 street and third avenue. Specials offered were good value and the house red was reasonable and good. Adequate service and pretty good prices made this a nice choice when in the area. Be sure...More

Someone flipped the "on" switch at about 7pm the night I dined here w my family. Thankfully we had settled in by that point because the downstairs, stonewalled venue quickly ramped up the volume to "11". That said, the food was fresh, delicious and served...More

I stopped by Scalinatella Restaurant on 61st Street for lunch recently. Service was prompt and very friendly, the Italian decor is very pleasant, and cleanliness appeared to be very good. I had pasta with clams, which were prepared beautifully.

We visited this restaurant upon a recommendation and it could not of been better. It gets pretty crowded in there but it's because it's delicious!! The small complementary tastings were wonderful! We ordered the calamari (it was grilled) and oh so perfect! For our entrees...More

This is known as a very trendy restaurant in NYC. The atmosphere is great, hole in the wall type environment, dark, but lively. The food is good, but not amazing. The prices are very high, even for NY italian restaurant.
