Cesca is fairly large. As you walk in, there is a long bar that parallels the entrance to the main dining room. if you are alone, you can have dinner at the bar, people watch or take in one of three TV's with the sound off tuned to sports channels. The menu features one or two daily specials and is... More

Very nice restaurant! Nice decor- very Tuscan. Reasonable prices. A very good cocktail. Food came on hot plates. Pasta with orrchiete, sausage, and broccoli-di-rabe was excellent. Heritage pork chop was juicy and recommended . Sea bass fish of the day came nice and juicy with a delicious sauce. I really liked the ambience.

The atmosphere was good. The service was excellent. If your going to the Beacon and would like a nice dinner before the show, this is a good choice.

Had our last meal in New York City at the bar of this warm and inviting Upper West Side restaurant and bar. Josie was very attentive and the drinks and food were great. Will return for sure.

First class modern Italian . Great menu using many old Italian items paired and inrertwined with modern concepts. Good wine selection and a full bar(although could use a Canadian Blend Whiskey) to their selection. Terrific dinner, service was outstanding yet, not overbearing. All dinners were great and we ended up tasting them all at the table.

It's that good, if the Beacon Theatre has an event you need reservations, if not, no problem. Stylish décor, good service, excellent food, Italian influence. A real NYC Upper Westside vibe.

Dated dark dining room with ratty old banquettes. Too soft to sit on. Overpriced lackluster food. Escarole salad with walnuts had neither. Came out as romaine with a few burnt hazelnuts. Special striped bass was clearly frozen old and inedible. Pasta and sauces were Chef Boyardee level. Wine and service were better. But, not much to recommend a return to... More
