Very good sushi. The fish is very fresh and tasteful. The sake variety is super. Sushi and sashimi are delicious. Cozy place. It worth the money.

I went here with my girlfriend for sushi in October and it was excellent. There service was good and the sushi was very fresh. I went again with a friend in November and we had other dishes - the duck appetizer, calamari and some sushi. The other dishes we had were very mediocre, but the sushi was, again, excellent. So,... I frequent this place as I travel to ny couple of times a year. It is like an old shoe (in the very good sense). I like the spider roll and the eel. Today tried also a new roll of salmon avocado cayenne pepper which was good not great. If you around or, as I am, alone on a business... More

Had a post-theater, late night dinner. Place has calmed down a lot from pre-dinner crowd, and the loss of ambience is not made up for by the lacking decor. But, most important, the food was good. Miso soup was good. Shishito peppers were tasty and a bit spicy, like Pimientos de Padrón we live in Spain (only not randomly spicy... More

Dropped in as I was passing the area. Fancied sushi. Very clean look. Staff are attentive. Sushi was average, the salmon really delicious and well cut. Miso soup average to bland. Good for a quick top up but expect to spend upwards of $40 per head with one beer. I guess this is an average NYC price...

We've been walking past Haru since we moved to the neighborhood and always wanted to go but was conscious it may be expensive for a local Saturday meal. So we thought we'd try it when family came to town and we couldn't have been further from the truth. The sushi and sashimi for 2 platter could've fed 3 easily; all... More

Fresh sushi. Prompt service. Very busy especially in warmer months as they offer sidewalk dining. Best advice is to get there early.
