I've been eating papaya dogs for a decade- I love them. Super quick service, great prices, simple menu, efficient. In and out. Boom! Done! Best dog around. When people visit I always make them eat a papaya dog! Also, if you're a cool person and a good New Yorker, you'll be given a button that reads "Polite New Yorker"

Well first, we're from the tropics so we're definitely sure that their shakes did not taste fresh. The hotdogs? They're just average. The shop does give good instagram photos.

It was my first trip to NY and so I had to make sure to try Gray's Papaya and they definitely live up to they hype. I got one dog with everything and one with chives, onions, mustard and ketchup. The dog with everything was best. Next time in NYC, I will definitely stop by for another.

The famous snack bar is never empty. It is popular, both among visitors and local residents. And this is about something yes it says! Insanely delicious and suspiciously budget hot dogs will please even avid skeptics, so do not miss your chance to try the legend.

I needed a quick snack mid-day, popped into Gray's Papaya for a hot dog. I was served quickly. The dogs are $2.50, plus extra for toppings. It hit the spot for me. There is no seating, but a small park nearby did the trick for me. Highly recommended.

I love a good NYC hot dog and Gray's has the best. For $5.95 you get 2 hot dogs and a glass of papaya juice. And the hot dogs are not sitting in dirty water like the street vendors offer. I make it a pint to stop here every visit.

A quick place to eat hotdogs. Food is rather cheap and juices are nice although not freshly made. Place is close to Central Park. This place doesn't offer seating so you need to expect to eat standing up by a counter.

Was going in with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Very tasty hot dog, nice roll. sweet pina colada drink. A NYC institution, and deservedly so.

I went there after hearing a lot about these famous hot dogs, the hot dogs were smaller than others in NYC, good but not memorable though. I tried the juices too, it was OK.
