Sadly my experience included rude and pushy staff (taking into account there was only one other patron in the place). Going on advice we both went for 'recession specials' I added some children to one of mine and honestly not the greatest hot dogs on the world. If your looking for a quick unhealthy lunch for under $6 take yourself... More

It's your basic, no frills NYC hotdog. Great way to get a cheap lunch in the city. The recession special gets you two hot dogs and a drink for around $5. For a little extra, you can add chili, cheese, and other toppings to your dogs. It doesn't offer much in the way of atmosphere or seats, but the hot... More

Second time there. First time was really good that's why I came back. This time, the frankfurters were no tastier than anyone in the street carts, but more expensive and with the staff trying to charge you more than they should. Laughed when the casher tried to charge me $20 for 3 franks and 2 juices. Clearly they are running... More

Great hot dogs at reasonable price! Papaya juice was different for me but I loved it.. We both got the recession special with our favorite toppings. It was a bit crowded but we didn't care, we were thrilled to stop into one of the settings from our favorite show.

I don't understand the hype. It is a hot dog. The sausage is good, as well as the bun. The toppings are ok. But I can get a good hotdog at Ikea as well.

Its cheap, and as you would expect it tastes cheap. As the advert says 'if your broke' this would be a good choice.

Had the highly rated and advertised hot dog. It was definitely delicious with great service. If you like hot dogs this is the place to go.

My first stop on any trip to the Apple is Grays Papaya. Papaya juice with there hot dogs is a match made in heaven. Simple, cheap, very good.

Somes I stop here for a hot dog and fresh papaya, it's an okay fast food place, reasonably decent, but should not be a regular haunt. Worth a bite here now and again while you are on the run to do something.

I heard so much about Papaya and decided to give it a try after a well known TV chef raved how good the hotdog with red sauce and papaya drink were. It's no doubt an inexpensive meal but I get better tasting hot dogs at Costco. Hot dogs were thin and red sauce was nothing special. The papaya drink was... More
