I have been going to Volare's since 1987 since it was a big hangout for people in my industry. We have eaten so many great meals from this Gem. The food and service are fantastic. I never bother with the menu since we go there...More

Volare is a relative newcomer only insofar as its 1970s-bestowed name is concerned: in the 1890s it was Bertolotti's, and then, when the Village became a tourist attraction around the time of the First World War, the cozier name of Mother Bertolotti's. It still gives...More

Every time we come to NY, we get together with friends from Brooklyn, and we always meet at Volare. The restaurant itself is beautiful - low ceiling, beautiful wood booths, crisp white linens, flowers on the tables. And the food is outstanding. The owners are...More

Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Anywhere from decent casual to dress. Because of location, they are close to some large businesses. People come after work in their suits and lunch time. Don't see too much scruffiness in here.
