This is the third time I have been to the Strip House. We had a party of three and loved the meal. Started with bacon appetizer and has a bone in rib eye that was cooked the way I ordered it. Fun place and a...More

I've been to this steakhouse before so I had a high degree of confidence when I chose this restaurant for dinner with a client last night. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The Caesar Salad was flavorless, the 2 small Diver Scallops weren't worth $12 each,...More

This place is all dark light, noisy background and deep red chairs, like out of old gangster movie. The service is old fashioned too though could have been slightly more attentative. The food was very good and the New York strip steak just as it...More

We celebrated an anniversary. The restaurant was sparely populated when we arrived at 6:30. However by 7 it was packed with diners. We ordered steak meals which were delicious. The vegetable side dish was equally good. To finish we had their 24 layer cake. A...More

We wanted to try NY steaks, and the concierge kindly made a reservation for us at this place. The interior of the restaurant was impressive. The weight of each cut was totally beyond our stomach capacities, and it took us some time to decide what...More

The atmosphere is is of the old gangster movies. The staff is great, service is great. The steaks are big but covered with way too much pepper and salt. It is not on par with some of the other steakhouses in NYC. The pricing is...More

Have been to a few NYC steakhouses. Peter Luger in particular. My first trip to the Strip House. My daughter thought it was some sleazy nightclub. I had the 20 oz bone in rib eye and my daughter had the 14 oz bone in fillet....More

Strip House is a wonderful, old-school, NYC steak house, serving generous portions of beautifully cooked meats, but this time, we stopped in a for quick drink at the bar. Staff were courteous and helpful and the choices were great. Never thought of it as a...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

I would definitely give the New York Strip House a phone regarding dinner on Valentine's Day as that is a very busy date night. You would need to have a reservation in place . The phone nu,her is:212-328-0000.
Is this family friendly. I have two girls that are 10 and 12. They are used to eating in high end restaurants and love steak.

It does seem more of a grown up type of restaurant. But I'm sure if you have an early dinner it would work! Call them or email and ask! See what type of reaction you get...if they are friendly on the phone, there's your... More

A sultry steakhouse in New York City’s Greenwich Village where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake. Named a top steakhouse by Zagat and awarded four stars by Forbes, the namesake cut of aged beef isn't the only work of art to marvel upon...just take a look at the walls and tell us you don’t agree. Black and white vintage photos of bordello girls from the original 1900’s Studio Manasse collection reference an era of decadence and seduction. Visit our second NYC location, the new Strip House Midtown at 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, or on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
