Dined here for a weekday lunch as part of a group of 4. Service was very attentive and the food was excellent. We all had a selection from the lunch tasting menu with the wine pairing, and I can honestly say everything was outstanding. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in NY.

From the enchanting smell of apples in the entrance - fresh flowers on the table - your senses are immediately engaged - and the decor is fabulous - entertaining the eye as each of your senses is entertained - most especially the 'over the top' food selections! Every course is a delight - the Service outstanding and personal. Our sommelier... More

This is a beautiful classically decorated restaurant serving 3 & 6 course price fixe dinner menus or chef selection special sittings. All selections are offered with wine pairings. On either menu there is a surprisingly good assortment of choices from both land and sea. As French as it alludes to be, there is a real Japanese influence to both menu... More

I did a lot of research into restaurants for my wife's birthday and despite considering other restaurants, I chose here because the menu sounded the best here. I felt like the entrance was cool with all the apples, and we were greeted promptly and sat immediately. There was an amuse bouche of smoked salmon as well as a cracker with... More

Visited for lunch and ordered from the tasting menu with wine pairing. Im quite fussy about food and service and was absolutely delighted we visited. The food and wine kept coming in a timely manner. The food was excellent and the service couldn't be faulted. A memorable visit, I would recommend to anyone visiting lower manhattan.

Beautiful, lush restaurant. The entrance smelled like apples. Attentive waitstaff, delicious food. We enjoyed foie gras, seafood, lamb, sea bass. With so much bread and so many wonderful amuse bouches, the three course menu was enough. We tried the wine pairing, an unusual move for us. There were a few surprises, pairings we wouldn't have thought of. Sommelier seemed rushed.

Service was excellent although the tightness of the space did require some impressive acrobatics by the staff. Very attentive, good attention to detail and quick. Not the best ever but at a top level. Our table had the 6 course tasting menu and we all agreed that the appetizers were outstanding in taste and execution. We all thought the lobster... More

We went to celebrate my birthday - the restaurant is lovely and the decor very tasteful ! The service is fine but not up to normal efficient smiley New York standard, still it's a French restaurant ! The food was inedible, l left most of it, the wine was poor and uninteresting, the only thing l enjoyed was the bread!... More

Tries too hard to be creative but doesn't work with the food. Flavour wasn't harmoniously put together. Weird spices and combination, nothing French about it (aside from the people, the butter, the place and the cooking technique). We enjoyed the bread though. Good wine selection. Uni dish tasted like paper (?) if staff could be a little bit friendlier, it... More

This was one of the most memorable restaurant meals in my life. Extremely elegant setting, but the staff is very down to earth and not snobby at all. The 3 course meal is really an 8 course meal with all the amuse bouches and your choice of about 15 kinds of fresh carved bread. Wines range from highest end to... More
