This cozy Italian gem is the perfect place for a couples or family dinner. The staff is friendly and accommodating ... making you feel like you are at home. The food is rustic, delicious and fresh. I love this place. All the pastas are homemade and fantastic. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I took the family and Pepolino reminded all... More

Very pleasant dinner...the service and diner were both very good. We started with two appys to share among five of us. The bruschetta and the polpettini ---very flavorful. The simple pasta dish of pecorino and pancetta was the perfect anecdote to a cold February nite. If you could convince the restaurant to share their recipe for the tomato tapenade that... More

This charming little gem was the perfect place for a good, yet casual dinner in Tribeca. The food was delicious, the waiter recommended a perfect (yet affordable) bottle of wine and overall we felt we had been transported to a small town in Italy right in the heart of NY. The one vegetarian at our table also loved that the... More

My partner and I came here for his birthday dinner. Our waiter was very polite and attentive and provided excellent recommendations. The food was phenomenal (never knew I could love a rabbit stew so much) as was the wine. Go here if you want truly delicious Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff! I can't say enough good... More

We wanted a restaurant close to the Sheraton Tribeca and it was right around the corner. The atmosphere is warm and inviting from the colored lights outside to the brick walls inside and definitely from the welcoming friendliness of the waitstaff. We shared a antipasto which was definitely big enough for the two of us. I had a gratinee which... More

This is arguably the best most authentic food I've ever had. My husband, who tends to be a snob about Italian food is in love and tells people all the time to go here! They make fresh homemade pasta daily, and make unique and creative dishes.

Attentive staff, an intimate dining atmosphere, and superb Italian dishes make this trattoria truly special. I had the seafood pasta with a spicy tomato based sauce. Very tasty!

On a friends recommendation we left uptown and headed to TriBeCa (Triangle Below Canal) which I also learned today 😂. Small, neat neighborhood place. Attentative staff. Nice wine selection by the glass and bottle. Super fresh pasta and sauce all made in house. Somewhat picky eating daughter loved the pasta with pesto (they gladly tailored to meet her wishes). Beet... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
