The buttermilk pancakes were really good, but the butter and syrup they came with weren't real. It may be because we're fussy, but I like my syrup to be maple, not corn. The omelette was good and very generous.

We had an enjoyable lunch. My husband and I shared a combo deli sandwich- turkey and pastrami. We also shared a potato pancake(large) and I had a cup of chicken noodle soup. They gave us a bowl of pickles and Cole slaw too. Everything was very tasty and fresh. In addition we had good service.

Walked in with Starbucks coffee from across the street and were told we couldn't bring them to our table. Seriously! Well we left and never returned.

We kind of stumbled upon this place while looking for a good deli to get a sandwich. We each enjoyed a triple-decker hot pastrami and corned beef priced at about $17. You also get to help yourself to their cole slaw, pasta salad, pickle and pepper bar. I had a nice Amstel Light with my meal. The waiter was attentive... More

We called in for an early Sunday breakfast when most other diners were still closed. It had a good feel and there were a number of other customers clearly enjoying their meals. Bacon, eggs and fried potatoes were served in generous portions. Service was prompt and friendly. Two happy diners.

Stumbled into this place whilst wandering round on a first night in NY. It doesnt look much but we had some decent food here at a decent price. Big portion size and very friendly staff.

If you like a big breakfast, then this is the place. Eight in the party but no problem seating us together. The food is very good and the menu is extensive. Clean and tidy with attentive staff. Set us up for the day.

Great breakfast, very friendly and quick service. Locals and tourists use the cafe twice we visited twice during our stay. Definitely worth a try very reasonably priced too

We ate breakfast here a number of times whilst in New York. The service was warm and welcoming and very quick. The food was gorgeous especially the pancakes. The cafe was used by tourists and locals which I always this is a sign of quality and authenticity. Will return here next time we are in New York.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
