Location is nice, good ambience, service very friendly and professional, the food is amazing. Wonderful choice of raw shellfish, terrific selection from the kitchen : octopus, shrimps, cod and lobster wars incredible, so good taste, a little spicy. One of the best places for seafood...More

$22 for a 500ml Finnriver cider is an absolute farce. Completely overpriced and disproportionate to their other beverage prices. Oysters were ok but I've had much better in NYC for a similar price. Company was great. Thankfully we didn't have to pay for that.

Crave is a gem in an otherwise not-so-nice neighborhood for interesting places. A sort of an hipster, city cool address using only sustainable fisheries product. I’ve been very often for lunch and never disappointed. Start with a good selection of East Coast oysters and follow...More

When our group of six dropped into Crave for a birthday celebration we had no idea what to expect, as it's difficult to find a fish-themed restaurant that could creatively deliver a broad range of seafood and drinks. To a person we were all delighted...More

Wow - enjoyed our visit. The back room is quite loud (even though it is small). But the service and the food were great. Our server hustled to work all the tables/booths. Nice selection of oysters. So ordered 2 each of 6 different ones. Loved...More

For starters we ordered the fried octopus (perfectly cooked with a fresh sauce and sweet potato) and sashimi salmon (lovely green salad). Then we had the raw fishplatter for 2, with oysters, prawns and crab. Could have been a little bit bigger but was very...More

One of the best restaurants in Nyc. Highly recommend. Everything on the menu is delicious and locally sourced. Drinks are amazing. Great selection of gluten free options labeled on the menu especially the calamari! Go for oyster hour from 5-7 and try everything :)

Weeknights feature $1 oyster happy hour — some briny, some sweet, all fabulous. We also had delicious grilled octopus and calamari appetizers (never had mint leaves on calamari before — so creative and perfect!). Olive oil-poached cod was meaty and tender. We went early (5:30)...More

Crave Fishbar is a vibrant, convivial restaurant in Midtown Manhattan serving an inspired seafood menu from chef Todd Mitgang. An eclectic mix of reclaimed materials and custom made chairs and tables lend a beachy, rustic feel to the space, which houses a 25-foot-long bar where guests can order from the full dinner menu along with cocktails and wine from a mounted bottle display. Approachable, sophisticated dishes feature local seafood, crudos, and meat dishes that are thoughtfully prepared with both familiar and exotic ingredients. At the 2nd floor bar you will find a full raw bar shucking up a large variety of East and West Coast oysters. Outdoor seating on both floors. Crave Fishbar has taken its place as a neighborhood fixture, providing locals and newcomers alike with a elegant, inviting experience. Our Oyster Happy Hour is the busiest in NYC with both east/ west coast oysters for $1/each along with drink and food specials so come early and slurp down up to 20 different varieties.
