We enjoyed soup dumpling with beef and also one kind with a fish and it was really really good! The place was kinda small but still very cozy and the stuff was very friendly even though they didn’t spoke much. We went there specifically for...More

I ordered 3 kinds of dumplings and they were slimy, with a gooey outside and questionable insides. I ordered shrimp with snow pea, shrimp dumpling, & a veggie. I tried one of each thinking that one of them had to be edible but I was...More

My kids and I were staying in Chinatown looking for great Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) so we stopped at Shanghai Asian Cuisine. Terrific dumplings and terrific prices. We ordered 1 order per person and some fried rice. Food was tasty and cheap. Cash only!

The dumplings were good, but the actual entrees were not. The sauces were too heavy and we felt gross after eating there. Also it’s cash only. I would not recommend.

The food is nice here. Cheap and tasty. But the place is basic and the service is awful. Waitresses were a bit off and muttered in Chinese as they walked past. I think this is a restaurant for the Chinese community only.

Nicely located 2 blocks from our Airbnb rental. The soup dumplings were very good and a new treat for our teen grandkids. A salt and pepper shrimp was excellent as was a lion’s head casserole. Several noodle dishes were average to good.

Average food coupled with appalling service made for a really disappointing visit. If you're not Cantonese I wouldn't bother.

Went there after reading some good reviews about it. While food was quite average, service was horrendous. We had two servers that night. The first one called “Lilly” advised us that beers would be $5 and gave us a superiority look. When they came back...More

Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where

Yes, it is a very small restaurant, but if you go on a quiet time, maybe it would work. give them a call.
