This was a recommendation from the hotel we were staying at and seemed to suit our tastes for an evening meal. The menu is quite extensive with some interesting challenging options for someone used to an English take on Chinese food. The restaurant itself is small and frequented by Chinese people which is normally a good sign. We were very... More

Very good meal on Christmas eve, off the beaten track a little, we stumbled across them and were so glad we did. Good food, good size portions, very quick service. Highly recommended.

both Sichuan and Hunan are Chinese provinces. both of them are famous for spicy food. however, Hunan cuisine is more about flavor and less about extreme spicy impact. highly recommend this place!

3 blocks from Grand Central, is a very fine restaurant that, on a recent lunchtime visit , was completely full and buzzing take out orders. What caught my eye was that the vast majority were ethnic Chinese, almost 85 percent ! I had gone there on my brother's recommendation and specifically for white fish in a ginger , garlic sauce... Located in a nice cluster of restaurants located close by our hotel, we were so glad to find this. Traditional good Chinese food. Across the street of the very popular waiting line around the corner Momoson Japanese restaurant. The first night we ate here and very pleased then ate at the fabulous Japanese restaurant located just across the street.

We had a wonderful, efficient, takeout experience and a fantastic meal in our own room because of this restaurant. Their food is so tasteful, healthy, and spicy!

We visited with friends last night and the whole evening was good, the food and service were good apart from when the waiter dropped one of our friends main course onto the table which then spilled over his leg, accidents happen so not a major issue. We finished our meal and left a small tip, as we then put our... More

I ordered Sesame chicken and pan fried noodles with veggies. The sesame chicken was just a sweet and sour chicken with a few sesame seeds thrown on top, and maybe it was my misunderstanding but uncooked skinny noodles came with a container of veggies in a brown sauce. I called the restaurant because the noodles were NOT pan fried and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
