Lillo and Loo is our 'goto' restaurant in the area around Bloomingdale's when we're in the mood for Chinese food as the prices and quality are excellent as are the mixed drinks. But overall our experience has been that the other Asian cuisines (e.g. Japanese, Malay, Thai, etc.) are hit or miss and the sushi is best avoided. But on... More

The good part of this restaurant is the tasty gluten free food they have. I tried the spring rolls and the house fried rice but they have a whole gluten free menu. The food was good and its not everywhere you can find gluten free spring rolls but the prices are too high for chinese food. 2 mini spring rolls... More

Had an amazing dinner here. My wife has to eat gluten free for medical purposes, and this restaurant has an extensive and dedicated gluten free menu. We both ordered off of it and everything was fantastic. GF steamed dumplings, Saichwan Beef, and Shrimp&Walnuts. Will definitely be going back again. The food was so good, I forgot to pause to take... More

We were frozen and hungry when we arrived and Tina did a great job of feeding us and thawing us out. They have a huge gluten free menu!! We enjoyed the gluten free spring rolls and pork dumplings. Hubby's General Tso's chicken was great and so was my house fried rice which is soy sauce free!!

We went here as they have a good gluten free menu and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant wasn't too busy and we were shown to a table straight away. The waitress brought over the menus and a gluten free one for my wife. The menu was comprehensive and we all chose something different. I had the sezchaun beef and it... More

Asian fusion for the seniors. I was truly surprised at the lack of seasoning until i looked around at the age of most of the diners. The restaurant is clean so a plus. I would not go back

Recently went back to Lilli and Loo after having gone a few months back. It is as good as we remembered. They offer an extensive menu of gluten free options that spans several types of asian food. You can't even tell the fried dumplings are gluten free! When you arrive, everyone's dish looks/smells great. My girlfriend and I were practically... More

Located a round the corner we peeked in and decided to try it. Great food and service. Terrific selection of food. Nice wine and beer selections . Was so good first night in NYC that I returned for take-out two nights later when they were packed on a Saturday night.

Stopped here for a quick lunch - craving Asian food. The food was great! If you go, make sure to try the Beef Lo Mein.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
