Don't get me wrong, the place is super hype, amazing setup in a club like mood. Very comfy and spacious. Fits lots of guests. Service is top notch and up to the expectations, however, the food was below expectations and average. Portions are small but...More

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend. We went on a weekday so it was easier to get a table without a booking but it was still quite full. Entering the restaurant through a pawn shop was an interesting start to our evening. Food...More

The best part about this restaurant is the atmosphere. You enter through a pawn shop (at least, that is what it looks like) which makes the restaurant seem surprisingly big and stylish as soon as you walk in. The friendly staff and unique crowd made...More

Although it feels more like a novelty restaurant than a fine dining restaurant - think higher end hard rock, but with a "club" atmosphere - I was pleasantly surprised. It is a chain now, and it may have been exclusive at one point, but all...More

The free champagne for ladies in the bathroom was nice though overtime you needed the bathroom, you had to walk down two long staircases. There should be one on each floor or at least every other. Food was good. The Mac, Cheese & Bacon dumplings...More

Did the champagne brunch here the other weekend. Great atmosphere and people. Service was a wee bit slow on the drinks but it was very crowded and busy. Food was 4/5 . The saxophone player and entertainment was awesome made the day! Would be back

If you like classic r&b, cocktails and amazing food then this is the place for you. Literally like eating in the middle of a club (music is very loud) but I loved it! All the girls were dancing at their tables and there's a prosecco...More

Visited Beauty & essex in June with a large group. Had drinks at the bar and then a late table for dinner. Both food and drinks were great, service was good and vibe was nice. Would go back.

Really great concept, where you enter through a door in the back of a music shop, into an astonishingly large space (for NYC) with leather banquettes, chandeliers, pink lighting, and an all around top-notch atmosphere. Two floors of seating, with multiple rooms on each floor....More

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving

The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next

We went on a Thursday night. It was very crowded but we did have a reservation. I don't know if the concierge at The Ritz made the reservation for us or if American Express did but we definitely would have needed one. We... More
